NCVPS Registration Open for 2013 – 2014

Registration for NCVPS courses is now open for the 2013 – 2014 school year.  DPI has not released your new allotment totals yet.  Currently, we started you off with your allotment totals that you had for the 2012-2013 school year.  We will adjust when the new numbers come in, which should be soon.  You will likely see an increase in your allotment totals after the adjustment.  Each district, though, should have enough allotments to register for Summer 2013, Fall 2013, and Spring 2014.

If you have any difficulties, please open a ticket at the Virtual Support Center here: http://www.help.ncvps.org/

Here are the enrollment options for the 2013-2014 school year:

Closing the Semester - Quick Reference Guide

EOC and VoCATS Testing
Schools must administer all EOC and VoCATS tests.  Schools will also need to average those scores (25%) into the grades that we post for those courses. See our Grades Quick Reference Guide for more details.

Timeline
For Fall 2012-2013 Traditional Block Course:
Friday, Jan. 11: Last day of fall block traditional calendar classes.
Thursday, Jan. 17: Grades posted in the registration system.

Check our calendar for a complete list of dates.

Early Senior Grades
If you have graduating seniors, you can request grades early from instructors.  They can only accommodate this for graduating seniors and for early calendar students in traditional calendar courses.

Access to Courses
Students will lose access to their courses at the end of the last day of the semester.

Grade
Follow this link to see our Grades Quick Reference Guide and how we calculate grades.

Report Cards and Transcripts
Schools must enter grades into NCWise/Powerschool.  Be sure the data manager has access to grades and understands our grade calculations.
